Cometa is an acrylic emulsion-based flake additive. It serves as a decorative auxiliary product, enhancing color diversity when added in specific proportions to derivatives such as gold, silver, bronze and similar options.
SCOPE OF APPLICATION
Cometa is applied on walls, plaster, rough concrete, and timber surfaces following thorough mixing and surface preparation. Use it in conjunction with a suitable primer.

When integrated into Cometa products, it effortlessly merges, facilitating straightforward blending processes.

APPLICATION VIDEO
-After cleaning all kinds of dirt, oil, swollen paint, and dust on the application surfaces, surface defects should be corrected with rai decor Acrylic Paste Fine, and old painted and newly painted surfaces should be primed with rai decor Decoprimer.
-Decoprimer should be diluted with 20-25% clean water by volume and applied to the surface in 2 layers with a brush or roller; Complete drying must be ensured between coats.
– After the primer dries, Cometa is mixed carefully with a spatula and applied to the surface with a special wooden brush. After 25 minutes, the final appearance is given by laying it on the surface with a plastic spatula. Different decorative effects can be achieved depending on application techniques.
– During and for 24 hours after application, care should be taken to ensure that the ambient temperature is a minimum of +5°C and a maximum of +35°C.
At 23˚C, touch time is 4-5 hours and full drying time is 24-48 hours.
For single coat application depending on surface smoothness, absorbency, and application techniques;
– 7.5 – 9.5 m² with 1 liter.
– An area of 6.5 – 8.5 m² can be painted with 1 kg.
– Paint consumption for an area of 1 m² is 100-130 ml and 120-155 grams.
